What the store needed
- Blog posts needed a visitor counter that Shopify doesn't provide.
- Shoppers needed a faster way to add products to cart.
- The hero video was slowing down the page.
What I did
- Integrated the blog with a visitor counter saved in Firebase and served through Vercel, built with Node.js.
- Built the frontend with class-based HTMLElement extensions (web components).
- Added site-wide quick add-to-cart and a sticky add-to-cart on product pages.
- Optimized LCP issues such as the hero video.
- Created sections based on Figma designs and implemented changes to collection and product pages.
